Lathermore Soap Company, LLC is proudly a woman-owned business passionate about vegan and cruelty-free bodycare products. We are dedicated to improving the lives of our fellow women by supporting the efforts of female-focused nonprofit organizations. 

Therefore, we are elated introduce our She Initiative. Every quarter we will be partnering with a select charity in order to raise awareness for their organization and the services they provide to women within our community.

To further aid their cause, we will be donating 5% of our sales from that quarter to their organization. 

We are so honored to be able to take this step with our business and appreciate the love and support of our customers for making The She Initiative possible.

Quarter 1 & 2: Dorothy's House

Dorothy’s House is a safe place for survivors of human trafficking, exploitation & prostitution to discover their healing journeys through the practice of life. Their customized programs provide complete support for all survivors, regardless of race or gender.

 

 Quarter 3: Young Women's Resource Center

The Young Women’s Resource Center is a non-profit organization that supports, educates and advocates for girls and young women* ages 10-24. Through small groups and individual support, the YWRC provides programming for all young women, no matter what they may be going through.

*We define ‘girls and young women’ as any persons who have been socialized and/or identify as female. Trans and nonbinary friends are welcome.

Thanks to the support of our amazing customers, we were able to donate more than $4,000 to women-centric charities in Iowa during 2021!
